The new Girls Basketball Coach, Coach Collins, is ready to help the team meet its greatest potential. He wants the program to be “one that the players, school and community are proud of.”
Collins expects players to set good examples for others and achieve their potential in the classroom and as community members. He holds them accountable to attempt to better themselves in each of those areas everyday. Collins does this to not only improve the girls’ success on the basketball court but also for them to be college and career ready when they finish high school.
Coach Collins feels blessed to build a coaching staff that approaches every day with a positive and caring attitude. He is working the team hard in the off-season to prepare for their upcoming games this year. Collins knows the team has the commitment it takes to play competitively and is looking forward to what’s ahead for them.
If you are looking to join the team, tryouts will be on October 31 after school until 5:30. They have workouts after school on Mondays and Fridays until 5:00. No prior experience with basketball is required and girls from all grades are welcome as they begin their season.
