This Saturday, Sept. 20, an Asian Festival will be held in Downtown Knoxville at Krutch Park, next to Market Square. There will be foreign traditional dances as well as door prizes, martial arts, Lion Dancing, music, food, and Samurai practice. The event lasts from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Hard Knox Roller Girls are coming to Knoxville this Saturday, Sept. 20 to the Knoxville Civic Coliseum, starting at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $10, and you can get tickets from gigaticket.com
On Sunday, Sept. 21 the Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum is holding a fall festival from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The festival includes crafts, outdoor games, and garden tours. All admission is free.
The St. George Greek Orthodox Church is holding a Greekfest Sept. 26 and 27 at 11:00 am, and Sept. 28 at 12:00 pm. The church is located on Kingston Pike and the event will include authentic Greek food, pastries, live music, dancing and costumes.
The Tennessee Theater is hosting a Mama Mia play as part of the Broadway at The Tennessee Theater on Sept. 30, Oct. 1, and Oct. 2. The play, written by Catherine Johnson, A daughter is on a quest to discover her biological father and finds three men from her mother’s past on an island they visited 20 years ago.
The Fright Works Haunted House, located at West Emory Road in Powell, will open in October and is open each Thursday - Sunday throughout the month. This is one of the most scary and original attractions in Knoxville and great for anyone looking for a thrill this Halloween season.
