Marine Mud Run
What: This is a 3 mile mud obstacle course that tests your strength and your will to be clean.
When: Saturday, September 17, 2016 There are multiple waves of individuals, children, and teams starting between 8am and 1pm.
Where: Melton Hill Park 3230 Williams Bend Road Knoxville, TN US 37932
Why: The money raised goes to the organization USMC Wounded Warrior Regiment. This race will push you to do what you thought was not possible of yourself.
Cost: $50 race fee + $3.50 sign-up fee
Waggin’ Tails 5K Fun Run
What: A 5k run with your dog, for other dogs.
When: Sunday, September 18, 2016 Registration starts at 2pm, the run starts at 3pm
Where: Tommy Schumpert Park 6400 Fountain City Rd.
Why: Donated money goes to help the animals in the shelter and you can adopt dogs from them.
Cost: Pre-register online before September 15, 2016 - $25 Pay on race day - $30 Youth Fee- $10
St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer
What: A walk or run around around the Knoxville Zoo/Chilhowee Park.
When: Saturday, September 24, 2016 Registration starts at 7:30am, and the walk and run start at 9am.
Where: Knoxville Zoo/Chilhowee Park 3500 Knoxville Zoo Dr Knoxville, TN 37914
Why: The money raised goes to St. Jude Hospital to end childhood cancer.
Cost: Age 6 and up - $10 Age 5 and under - free
Walk to end Alzheimer’s
What: A 2 mile walk in support of ending Alzheimer’s.
When: Saturday, October 1, 2016 Registration starts at 8am The ceremony starts at 9am The walk starts at 9:30am
Where: UT Campus TBD Knoxville, TN 37996
Why: Money raised will go to Alzheimer's support, care, and research.
Cost: Free, but you can donate or fundraise for the event and get a t-shirt and other small prizes.
